Pancake recipes easy
Pancakes are a popular breakfast food made from a simple batter of flour, eggs, milk, and baking powder. They are typically cooked on a griddle or non-stick pan, and can be served plain or with a variety of toppings, such as butter, syrup, fruit, whipped cream, or chocolate chips.
Pancakes are a versatile dish that can be adapted to a range of tastes and dietary needs. For example, you can use whole wheat flour or gluten-free flour to make healthier or gluten-free pancakes. You can also add mix-ins like blueberries, chocolate chips, or nuts to add flavor and texture to your pancakes. Pancakes are a great source of carbohydrates, which provide energy for the body. They are also a good source of protein and calcium, depending on the recipe and toppings used. However, pancakes can also be high in sugar and calories, especially if they are loaded with syrup and other sweet toppings. It’s important to enjoy pancakes in moderation as part of a balanced diet.
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons melted butter or vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Butter or cooking spray for the pan
Instructions:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter or oil, and vanilla extract (if using).
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can result in tough pancakes.
Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. Add a small amount of butter or cooking spray to the pan.
Use a ladle or measuring cup to pour about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the pan for each pancake.
Cook the pancakes for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Serve with your favorite toppings, such as butter, syrup, fruit, or whipped cream.
Note: You can add mix-ins to the batter, such as blueberries, chocolate chips, or chopped nuts, for additional flavor and texture. Just fold them into the batter gently before cooking the pancakes.
